Dihua Jiang
Dihua Jiang (, born 1958) is a Chinese-born American mathematician. He is a professor of mathematics at the University of Minnesota working in number theory, automorphic forms, and the Langlands program. Early life and education In 1958, Jiang was born in the Lucheng District, Wenzhou, Lucheng District of Wenzhou, Zhejiang. See p. 20 He studied at Wenzhou No. 3 Middle School before studying at Zhejiang Normal University, where he received his bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1982. He received a master's degree from East China Normal University in 1987 and a PhD in mathematics from Ohio State University in 1994 under the supervision of Stephen Rallis. Career Jiang joined the faculty at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota in 1998 and became a full professor in 2004. Lucheng District, Wenzhou
Lucheng District (; Wenzhounese: ''luo zen'') is a District of the People's Republic of China, district of the city of Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, China. It is the central district and government seat of Wenzhou. The literal meaning of the name Lucheng is the city of deer. It originated from a myth that a white deer was spotted in this area long time ago. It has an area of and a population of 1,293,300 residents as of 2010. The other 2 districts of the Wenzhou urban area are Longwan District, Longwan and Ouhai District, Ouhai. Lucheng was built in the first year of Taining in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (323 AD). Wee Teck Gan
Gan Wee Teck (; born 11 March 1972) is a Malaysian mathematician. He is a Distinguished Professor of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is known for his work on automorphic forms and representation theory in the context of the Langlands program, especially the theory of theta correspondence, the Gan–Gross–Prasad conjecture and the Langlands program for Brylinski–Deligne covering groups. Biography Though born in Malaysia, Gan grew up in Singapore and attended Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School, the Chinese High School, and Hwa Chong Junior College.
