Danny Dignum
Danny Dignum (born 17 March 1992) is an English professional boxer who has held the WBO European middleweight title since 2019. As an amateur he won a bronze medal at the 2013 World Combat Games. Early life Danny Dignum was born on 17 March 1992 in Essex, England. He attended St. Margaret's primary school in his home town of Bowers Gifford before attending The Appleton School in South Benfleet. He worked alongside his dad and twin brother as a tarmacer and concreter before taking up boxing full time. After his parents became fed up of he and his twin brother fighting, both began boxing at the age of nine on their father's suggestion. Amateur career During a career in which he had around 85 fights with approximately 70 wins, he won the 2012 ABA Championships, a bronze medal at the 2013 World Combat Games and competed at the 2014 European Union Championships as part of the GB Boxing team. Charles Dignum
Charles Dignum (c. 1765 – 29 March 1827) was a popular tenor singer, actor and composer of English birth and Irish parentage who was active in recital, concert and theatre stage, mainly in London, for about thirty years. Origins and early training Charles was the son of an Irish Roman Catholic tailor, whose home and business moved from Rotherhithe to Lincoln's Inn Fields during the boy's childhood. He became a chorister in the Sardinian Embassy Chapel in Duke Street, where he was taken on as a vocal pupil by Samuel Webbe, the organist. The boy had plans to enter the church, but was apprenticed by his father to a carver-gilder, with whom, however, he soon fell out, and after some months he articled himself to Thomas Linley the elder, the composer and singing master. Frank Dignum
Franciscus Petrus Maria (Frank) Dignum (born 1961) is a Dutch computer scientist. He is currently a Professor of Socially-Aware AI at Umeå University and an associate professor at the Department of Information and Computing Sciences of the Utrecht University. Dignum is best known from his work on software agents, multi-agent systems and fundamental aspects of social agents. Dignum received his PhD in 1989 from the VU University Amsterdam under supervision of Reinder van de Riet with the thesis, entitled "A Language for Modelling Knowledge Bases, Based on Linguistics, Founded in Logic." Dignum started his academic career as assistant professor and chair of department of Computer Science at the University of Swaziland in 1990.
