Diego Eduardo Virrueta Candia (born 7 March 1992), known simply as Diego Virrueta, is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a winger or striker for Cienciano in Torneo Descentralizado. Club career Diego Virrueta was promoted to the Cienciano first team in January 2009. Manager Julio César Uribe gave him his league debut in the Torneo Descentralizado on 22 March 2009 away to Sport Huancayo. He entered the match in the 46th minute for Sergio Júnior but could not help his side avoid the 2–0 defeat. Cienciano
Club Sportivo Cienciano is a professional football club based in Cusco, Peru that currently plays in the Peruvian Primera División. The club was founded in 1901 by a group of students of the ''Colegio Nacional Ciencias del Cusco'' (National Science School of Cusco). They decided to give the club its name based on the word ''Ciencias'', which means "Science". Julio César Uribe Flores (born May 9, 1958 in Lima, Peru) is a Peruvian association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former player who played as an attacking midfielder or a second striker.
