Northbrook, Illinois
Northbrook is a suburb of Chicago, located at the northern edge of Cook County, Illinois, United States, on the border of Lake County, Illinois, Lake County. Per the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census, the population was 35,222. When incorporated in 1901, the village was known as Shermerville in honor of Frederick Schermer, who donated the land for its first Northbrook station, train station. The village changed its name to Northbrook in 1923 as an effort to improve its public image. The Belgian Third Division ( nl, Derde klasse, french: Division III) was the third highest level in Football in Belgium, Belgian football. It had two leagues of 18 teams each (Belgian Third Division A, A and Belgian Third Division B, B) at the same level. This competition, originally known as the Belgian Promotion ( nl, Bevordering) was first played in the 1926-27 in Belgian football, 1926-27 season with three leagues, then with four leagues between 1931 and 1952. From 1952 on, only two leagues remained and the competition was named the Third Division. Originally set to 16 clubs, the number of clubs in each division was increased in 2009 to 18 clubs. Koninklijke Diegem Sport is a Belgian association football club based in Diegem, Flemish Brabant currently playing in the third amateur division. The club was founded in 1943 when two clubs from Diegem merged, namely Diegem-Star and Diegem-Lo. They play at the Gemeentelijk Sportstadion in Diegem. History Founded in 1943, the club managed to reach the Belgian Promotion in 1976 with coach Etienne Borre, after many years in the lower Belgian Provincial leagues. Until the end of the century, Diegem played at the fourth level, with only two seasons back in the first division of Brabant provincial league. Superprestige (Cyclo-cross)
The Cyclo-cross Superprestige is a season-long cyclo-cross competition, consisting of around 8 rounds throughout the season in Belgium and the Netherlands. It is one of three season-long competitions, alongside the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup and the X²O Badkamers Trophy (formerly known as the DVV Trophy, BPost Bank Trophy, and Gazet van Antwerpen trophy). The first Superprestige took place in 1982–1983 and was won by Hennie Stamsnijder of the Netherlands. The Superprestige is organised by trade teams, not national teams as is found in the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. Two riders managed to win all 8 Superprestige races in one season, Sven Nys in 2006-07 and Mathieu van der Poel in 2018-19.
