Didarul Alam ( bn, দিদারুল আলম; born 6 April 1968) is a Bangladeshi businessman and politician and the former member of parliament for Chittagong-4 and director of Mostafa-Hakim Group. Early life Alam was born on 6 April 1968. He has a B.A. degree. Career Alam was elected to parliament on 5 January 2014 for Chittagong-4 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. His supporter and Jubo League leader, Ramzan Ali, was assassinated in August 2018 in Chittagong. Ramzan was accused in a number of criminal cases. ABM Abul Kashem was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the former Member of Parliament from Chittagong-2 Career Kashem was elected to Parliament in 2008 from Chittagong-3 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. He served as the Chairmman Parliamentary Committee for the Ministry of Commerce. Controversy Kashem's son, SM Al Mamun, tried to grab land from ship breaking companies in Sitakunda Upazila for his ship breaking company, Unique Ship-breaking Yard, on 7 October 2009. Mohammad Manjur Alam aka M. Manjur Alam ( bn, এম. মনজুর আলম) is a Bangladeshi politician and businessman. He is the former Mayor of Chittagong and managing director of Mostafa-Hakim Group. Political career Alam was elected Councillor of North Kattali Ward on 30 January 1994 with the support of Bangladesh Awami League. He was re-elected twice with the support of Awami League.
