Prieto Diaz, officially the Municipality of Prieto Diaz, is a 5th class municipality in the province of Sorsogon, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 22,644 people. History The town of Prieto-Diaz was once a Visita of the old Municipality of Bacon (now Bacon District of Sorsogon City). The town was given its present name from the surnames of the two Bicolano martyrs, Father Gabriel Prieto (1853–1897) and Father Severino Diaz (1862–1897) when it became independent from the Municipality of Bacon on October 12, 1903, by virtue of Act 940 of the Philippine Commission. Prieto-Diaz was the only town organized after Sorsogon became a Province on October 17, 1894. Tubajon, officially the Municipality of Tubajon ( ceb, Lungsod sa Tubajon; Surigaonon: ''Lungsod nan Tubajon''; tl, Bayan ng Tubajon; war, Bungto han Tubajon), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Dinagat Islands, Philippines. 2001 Raid On Armando Diaz
The raid on the "Armando Diaz" School took place during the 27th G8 meeting in Genoa in 2001 in the district of Albaro, Genoa. The school building was the temporary headquarters of the Genoa Social Forum, led by Vittorio Agnoletto. A nearby building, housing the anti-globalization organization Indymedia and lawyers affiliated with the Genoa Social Forum, was also raided. On July 21, 2001, shortly before midnight, mobile divisions of the Polizia di Stato of Genoa, Rome and Milan attacked the buildings, with the operational support of some battalions of the Carabinieri. The police indiscriminately attacked the building's occupants, resulting in the arrest of 93 protesters; 61 were seriously injured and were taken to hospital, three of them were in a critical condition and one in a coma. Diaz (full name Andres Rafael Diaz) is a rapper from Jessheim, Norway, born 26 July 1976. His father, Andres Rafael Diaz Rosa, is Spanish and his mother, Inger, is Norwegian. He has released three solo albums: ''2050'',''Velkommen Hjem, Andres'' (Welcome Home, Andres) and ''Jessheimfanden'', all paying homage to his hometown of Jessheim, which lies some 40 km N/NE of Norway's capital, Oslo, close to the city's airport, Gardermoen. In the nighttime raid, over 300 police officers attacked activists and journalists, seriously injuring 61 and putting one in a coma. Plot The film focuses on 2001 raid on the Diaz school, the storming of the Diaz school in Genoa by the police after the 2001 G8 summit.
