Dhruv Jurel
Dhruv Chand Jurel (born 21 January 2001) is an Indian international cricketer. He is a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper. He plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Early life and domestic career Jurel was born in a Jat family in Agra on 21 January 2001. His father served the Indian army and is a Kargil war veteran. At the age of five, he had to have plastic surgery when his left leg was trapped under a bus tyre. Dhruv Jurel attributes his selection to the Indian Test team to the sacrifices of his parents, highlighting his father's, a Kargil war veteran, initial reluctance due to financial constraints. When he was 14, his dad took out a loan to buy him a 2000 rupee (£20) Kashmir willow bat, and his mother pawned her only gold necklace to buy a kit bag. 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the fifth edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. It took place from 13 to 23 July 2023 in Sri Lanka. The tournament featured a total of 8 teams which included 5 'A' teams of the full members of the Asian Cricket Council; and the top 3 teams from the 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup; where 'A' teams from UAE and Oman; and Nepal national cricket team took part. The India A cricket team is a national cricket team representing India. It is the second-tier of Indian international cricket, below the full India national cricket team. The team is currently captained by Priyank Panchal in first-class cricket and Sanju Samson in List A cricket. The team is coached by former Saurashtra player Shitanshu Kotak. 2021–22 Ranji Trophy
The 2021–22 Ranji Trophy, is scheduled to be the 87th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. The tournament will be split into two phases, with the league stage being played from 17 February to 15 March 2022, and the knockout phase played from 30 May to 26 June 2022. Due to the delayed start of the tournament because of the COVID-19 pandemic, teams were split into eight Elite groups, instead of five as per previous editions, and the Plate Group. 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was the thirteenth edition of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a Twenty20 competition that was played in India.
