''Devi'' is an Indian television series which aired on Sony Entertainment Television from 20 September 2002 to 22 December 2004. It was produced by Ajay Devgan's production house Devgan Software from 2002 to 2004, later changed to Sujit Kumar Singh's production house Shreya Creations during the last few weeks of the series in association with Misha Gautam's production house Television Foot Prints. Plot Gayatri, a orphan who believes on Goddess Durga and lives with her kind hearted uncle and evil aunt. Anant Mahadevan
Anant Mahadevan (born 28 August 1950), also credited as Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, is an Indian screenwriter, actor, and film director of Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi language, Marathi, Tamil language, Tamil films and television shows. Having been an integral part of the Indian television serials and Hindi films since the 1980s, he is also involved in the professional English and Hindi theatre. Aman Verma (born 11 October 1971) is an Indian television anchor and actor. As an anchor, Verma is best known for hosting the game show ''Khullja Sim Sim'' on Star Plus from 2001 to 2004.
