Destin Hood
Destin Dwane Hood (born April 3, 1990) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins. Career Hood attended St. Paul's Episcopal School in Mobile, Alabama, where he played on the baseball and football team. In football, he was ranked by Rivals.com as a four-star recruit and was committed to the University of Alabama to play college football for the Crimson Tide. Washington Nationals Hood was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the second round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft. He signed with the Nationals, forgoing football at Alabama. Spring training is the preseason in Major League Baseball (MLB), a series of practices and exhibition games preceding the start of the regular season. Spring training allows new players to try out for Schedule (workplace), roster and position spots, and gives established players practice time prior to competitive play. The Florida Complex League Nationals are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Washington Nationals, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. The Frisco RoughRiders (often shortened to 'Riders) are a Minor League Baseball team of the Texas League and the Double-A (baseball), Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers. The Round Rock Express are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. Carlos Luis Carrasco (born March 21, 1987), nicknamed "Cookie", is a Venezuelan-born American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). Auburn Doubledays
The Auburn Doubledays are a collegiate summer baseball team of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) that is located in Auburn, New York. From 1958 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball's New York–Penn League (NYPL). They have played their home games at Leo Pinckney Field at Falcon Park since 1995.
