Reprudencia Sonkey, known professionally as Dencia, is a Cameroonian singer, entrepreneur and fashion designer. She was born in Cameroon and attended her primary school education at The Government English Primary School at Lake Central in Yaoundé and later on went for her secondary school education at Cameroon Protestant College (CPC) Bali in the North West Region of Cameroon. She started in the industry being featured in music videos of artists like Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, and Ludacris. Dencia released her debut single “Beri Beri” in 2011. Yaoundé
Yaoundé (; , ) is the capital of Cameroon and, with a population of more than 2.8 million, the second-largest city in the country after the port city Douala. It lies in the Centre Region of the nation at an elevation of about 750 metres (2,500 ft) above sea level. The outpost of Epsumb or Jeundo was founded between the Nyong and Sanaga rivers at the northern edge of the area's forests in 1887 by German explorers as a trading base for rubber and ivory.
