Den Ständiga Resan
''Den ständiga resan'' (''The Eternal Journey'') is the fourth studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Marie Fredriksson, released on 9 October 1992 by EMI Sweden. Predominantly composed during Roxette's "Join the Joyride! Tour", the album contains some of Fredriksson's darkest lyrical content. "Så länge det lyser mittemot" (''"As Long as There Is Light on the Other Side"'') and "Mellan sommar och höst" (''"Between Summer and Autumn"'') were issued as singles. The latter song, along with "Så stilla så långsamt" (''"So Still, So Slow"'') and "Det regnar igen" (''"It's Raining Again"''), were top ten hits on the Swedish Airplay Chart. The album remains both her highest-selling and most critically successful release in her native country. It spent two weeks atop the Swedish Albums Chart, where it was certified platinum within a month of release. Marie Fredriksson
Gun-Marie Fredriksson (; 30 May 1958 – 9 December 2019) was a Swedish singer, songwriter, pianist and painter, who was best known internationally as the lead vocalist of pop rock pop duo, duo Roxette, which she formed in 1986 with Per Gessle. The duo achieved international success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their albums ''Look Sharp! (Roxette album), Look Sharp!'' (1988) and ''Joyride (Roxette album), Joyride'' (1991), and had multiple hits on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100, including four number ones. Fredriksson had a successful career in her native country prior to forming Roxette. She was a member of punk rock, punk group Strul, a band which created their own music festival in 1979. Strul's dissolution led to the creation of her next project, the short-lived MaMas Barn, after which she began releasing solo work. ''Het vind'' (''Hot Wind'') is the debut studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Marie Fredriksson, originally released on Gramophone record, LP and Compact Cassette, Cassette formats on 20 September 1984 by EMI Sweden. The album was preceded by its lead single, "Ännu doftar kärlek" ("Still the Scent of Love"), and both that single and the album became top twenty hits in her native country. The title track was released as the second and final single, although it failed to chart. This single was b-side, backed by a Swedish cover version, cover of Cyndi Lauper's "All Through the Night (Cyndi Lauper song), All Through the Night", which was translated by producer Lars-Göran "Lasse" Lindbom, and re-titled "Natt efter natt" ("Night After Night"). "Joyride" is a song by Swedish pop duo Roxette. Written by Per Gessle, it was released on 25 February 1991 as the lead single from their third studio album, '' Joyride'' (1991). It became one of Roxette's biggest hits, and was one of the most successful singles of 1991, topping multiple record charts across Europe, as well as in Australia, Canada, and the United States. The song's accompanying music video received heavy rotation on MTV Europe.
