The Norwegian Democrats (Bokmål: Norgesdemokratene'','' Nynorsk: Noregsdemokratane, ND), formerly (Bokmål: ''Demokratene'', Nynorsk: ''Demokratane'', ''DiN''), formerly ''Democrats in Norway'' ( nb, Demokratene i Norge, ''DEM''.), is a antiglobalist and national conservative political party in Norway without parliamentary representation. Progress Party (Norway)
The Progress Party ( nb, Fremskrittspartiet; nn, Framstegspartiet; se, Ovddádusbellodat), commonly abbreviated as FrP, is a right-wing political party in Norway. The FrP has traditionally self-identified as classical-liberal and as a libertarian party but is generally positioned to the right of the Conservative Party, and is considered the most right-wing party to be represented in parliament. Vest-Agder
Vest-Agder (; "West Agder") was one of 18 counties (''fylker'') in Norway up until 1 January 2020, when it was merged with Aust-Agder to form Agder county. In 2016, there were 182,701 inhabitants, around 3.5% of the total population of Norway. Its area was about . The county administration was located in its largest city, Kristiansand. 2011 Norwegian Local Elections
Nationwide local elections for seats in municipality and county councils were held throughout Norway on 12 September 2011. Several municipalities also opened the polling booths on 11 September. For polling stations this meant that two elections, the municipal elections and the county elections ran concurrently. In addition, an advisory referendum was held in Aust-Agder to determine whether to merge the county with Vest-Agder. Overall, the Conservative Party made the greatest gains, and the Labour Party also advanced and remained the largest party. Jan Simonsen
Jan Simonsen (3 March 1953 – 12 August 2019) was a Norwegian writer, freelance journalist and politician. He was a member of parliament from 1989 to 2005. He was a member of the Progress Party until he was expelled from the party in 2001. From 2003 to 2004 he was deputy leader of the Democrats party. Since then he largely withdrew from party politics to focus on his writing and journalism. He wrote a blog with frequent issues revolving around immigration, multiculturalism, Israel, Islam, politics and foreign affairs. Pensions In Norway
Pensions in Norway fall into three major divisions; State Pensions, Occupational Pensions and Individual or personal Pensions. State pensions (Alderspensjon) All Norwegians citizens are entitled to get a state pension from the age of 67 in accordance with the Norwegian National Insurance Act (Folketrygdloven). The state pension is paid in full to Norwegian citizens who have lived in Norway for at least 40 years after the age of 16 and in lesser amounts to Norwegian citizens who have lived less time in the country (see Minimal state pension (Minstepensjon)).
