Democratic Left People's Party ( tr, Demokratik Sol Halk Partisi, DSHP) was a short-lived political party in Turkey. It was founded by ex-members of Democratic Left Party, led by Rahşan Ecevit. Its founding leader was Hulki Cevizoğlu. Cevizoğlu quit the office on January 13, 2010. In the founder's meeting on January 17, 2010, Rahşan Ecevit was elected as new leader. Mustafa Hulki Cevizoğlu (born 1 May 1958, Tirebolu) is a Turkish journalist, writer and television programmer and 28th Term AKP Istanbul Deputy. Life Cevizoğlu, who is originally from Tirebolu, has received many awards with his program Ceviz Kabuğu, which is identified with him. In 1980, he completed his bachelor's degree in 'Political Science' and then his master's degree in 'Business Administration' at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. In 2019, he completed his doctorate in Sociology at Maltepe University. Deniz Baykal
Deniz Baykal (born 20 July 1938) is a Turkish politician at the Republican People's Party (Turkish: Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi, abbreviated CHP) who served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1995 to 1996. Having served in numerous government positions, Baykal led the CHP from 1992 to February 1995, from September 1995 to 1999 and again from 2000 to 2010. Between 2002 and 2010, he also served as the Leader of the Opposition by virtue of leading the second largest party in Parliament. Rahşan Ecevit
Rahşan Ecevit (''née'' Aral, 17 December 1923 – 17 January 2020) was a Turkish author, painter and politician. She was the second lady of Turkey four times during her husband Bülent Ecevit's prime ministries. Biography She was born in Bursa, Turkey to a family from Şebinkarahisar, a town in the north-eastern Giresun province. Her father was Namık Zeki Aral and her mother Zahide Aral. Their family came from Thessaloniki after the population exchange agreement in 1920. In 1944 Rahşan graduated from the American high school Robert College in İstanbul.
