Demetera Macalpinei
''Demetera'' is a genus of fly, flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It contains eight species formerly included in ''Medetera'' in the ''M. melanesiana'' species group. The species are found in the Afrotropical realm, Afrotropical, Indomalayan realm, Oriental and Australasian realm, Australasian regions. According to Naglis and Bickel (2012), it was unwarranted to establish a separate genus for this group of species. Igor Grichanov
Igor Yakovlevich Grichanov (; born 10 September 1958) is a Russian entomologist and ecologist. As a taxonomist, he specialised on Diptera notably Dolichopodidae. He joined the staff of the All-Russian Institute of Plant Protection in 1981. In 1990, he became the Head of the Laboratory of Phytosanitary Diagnostics and Forecasts.К юбилею И. Я.
