Delta (American TV Series)
''Delta'' is an American sitcom television series starring Delta Burke that aired on ABC from September 15, 1992 to August 25, 1993. It was a new starring vehicle for Burke, as her return to television following her dismissal from the CBS sitcom ''Designing Women'' in the spring of 1991. Synopsis Burke portrays Delta Bishop, a young woman with dreams of writing and singing country music. She became a hairstylist at Mona's House of Hair, married Charlie Bishop and thought she had found happiness. After eight years of marriage, she became restless: she was eager to follow in the footsteps of her childhood idol, Patsy Cline, and become a country music star. She quits her job, leaves her husband and friends behind, and travels to Nashville, Tennessee. James Widdoes
James Widdoes (born November 15, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), sometimes billed as Jamie Widdoes, is an American actor and director. Early life Widdoes graduated from The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut, in 1972, and is a member of their Board of Trustees. He began his acting career during college, starring in a production of ''The New Amen Show'' at the Diners Playhouse in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1974. He next attended Skidmore College in 1972 and then transferred to New York University's Tisch School of Arts, graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While in New York, he roomed with such soon-to-be famous actors as Michael O'Keefe from ''Caddyshack'' and ''The Great Santini.'' ''Rumor Has It'' is the sixteenth studio album by American country music artist Reba McEntire. It was released on September 4, 1990, by MCA Records. The album continued her streak of late 1980s success and features one of her signature songs, "Fancy", of which CMT ranked at No. 27 on its list of the 100 Greatest Country Songs in 2003. Additionally, they ranked the video at No. 35 on their list of 100 Greatest Country Videos. Initially, "Fancy" song wasn't one of McEntire's larger radio hits, despite its acclaim.
