Delicious Library
Delicious Library is a digital asset management app for Mac OS X, developed by Delicious Monster to allow the user to keep track and manage their physical collections of books, movies, CDs, and video games. The software was initially released in November 2004, with $250,000 in sales in its first month. Delicious Library 2 was released officially on May 27, 2008, although the final version was available from March 25. Delicious Library 3 is available from the Mac App Store and the developers website for Macintosh systems running OS 10.8 or higher. The software is no longer supported by the authors. Delicious Monster
Delicious Monster is a software company based in Seattle, Washington, that sells the shareware software program ''Delicious Library''. Its founders are Wil Shipley, one of the three co-founders of The Omni Group, and Mike Matas, who worked as an interface designer at The Omni Group. Matas left Delicious Monster in 2005 to work for Apple, but left the company in July 2009 to found Push Pop Press. The company's name is based on the name of a plant that grows in the rainforests of tropical America, Monstera deliciosa. It is colloquially known as the ''Swiss cheese plant''. Wil Shipley joined Apple in 2021 and published blog postindicating that Delicious Library will not be further developed beyond keeping the software runnable on newer versions of macOS. IPod
The iPod is a discontinued series of portable media players and multi-purpose mobile devices designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The first version was released on October 23, 2001, about months after the Macintosh version of iTunes was released. Apple sold an estimated 450 million iPod products as of 2022. Apple discontinued the iPod product line on May 10, 2022. At over 20 years, the iPod brand is the oldest to be discontinued by Apple. Macworld/iWorld was an information technology trade show with conference tracks dedicated to the Apple Macintosh platform. It was held annually in the United States during January. Originally ''Macworld Expo'' and then ''Macworld Conference & Exposition'', the gathering dates back to 1985. The conference was organized by International Data Group (IDG), co-publisher of ''Macworld'' magazine. On December 18, 2008, Apple announced that the 2009 Macworld Conference & Expo would be the last in which the company participates. On October 14, 2014, IDG suspended Macworld/iWorld indefinitely. "Run to the Hills" is a song by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was released as their sixth single and the first from the band's third studio album, '' The Number of the Beast'' (1982). It is their first single with Bruce Dickinson as vocalist. Credited solely to the band's bassist, Steve Harris, Dickinson contributed to the song but could not be credited due to a contractual agreement with his former band Samson. ''Rock Band'' is a music video game developed by Harmonix, published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts. It is the first title in the ''Rock Band'' series.
