Deepak Paramesh is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Tamil language films. Career Deepak regularly worked on short films and was closely associated with Karthik Subbaraj, eventually featuring in two anthology films released by the director, ''Bench Talkies - The First Bench'' (2015) and ''Aviyal (2016 film), Aviyal'' (2016). Karthik Subbaraj is an Indian film director, writer and producer working mainly in Tamil cinema. Life and career Karthik did his schooling in SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Madurai after which he went on to study Mechatronics at Thiagarajar College of Engineering. During his college days he performed stage shows and skits. His father, Gajaraj, is an actor who has acted in many supporting roles in films like ''Mundasupatti'' and ''Kabali''. He made the short film "Kaatchipizhai" in Madurai, which was selected for ''Nalaya Iyakunar''. Karthik had intended to direct '' Jigarthanda'' first but could not fund the project. ''Aviyal'' is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language independent anthology film consisting of four short films directed by Alphonse Putharen, Shameer Sultan, Mohit Mehra, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Guru Smaran. ''Unakkenna Venum Sollu'' () is a 2015 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language horror film produced by N. Shanmuga Sundaram and the directorial debut of Srinath Ramalingam. Dubsmash was an American video sharing social media service application for iOS and Android. Founded in Germany by Jonas Drüppel, Roland Grenke, and Daniel Taschik, the company relocated from Germany to Brooklyn in 2016. On December 13, 2020, Reddit announced that it had acquired Dubsmash. ''Mercury'' is a 2018 Indian horror thriller film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. It stars an ensemble cast including Prabhu Deva, Sananth Reddy, Remya Nambeesan, Indhuja Ravichandran, Deepak Paramesh, Shashank Purushotham, and Anish Padmanabhan, amongst others. ''Petta'' () is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film was produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast featuring Simran, M. Sasikumar, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Malavika Mohanan, Mahendran, Guru Somasundaram, Sananth, Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in supporting roles. The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander with editing done by Vivek Harshan and cinematography by Tirru.
