Deep River (Western Australia)
Deep River is a river located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The river is under tidal influence for the last of its length. Although generally shallow the Deep River has depths of up to in places. The Deep River is one of the few perennial rivers in Western Australia although 80% of its discharge occurs in winter and spring. The rivers water quality is very good, fresh and low in nutrients. The majority of the catchment of the Deep River is not cleared. The silt and clay content can be high during the winter period. The Deep River begins just west of Lake Muir about 50 km from the coast on the edge of the Yilgarn Plateau. Lake Muir may, in flood, overflow into the Deep River catchment. It flows through a valley between granite hills then wanders across the coastal plain finally entering the Nornalup Inlet on the western side. ''Deep River'' is the third studio album (fourth overall) released by American singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada, released on June 19, 2002. It sold just over 2.35 million copies in its first week of release, charting at number one on the weekly, monthly and yearly Oricon charts. ''Deep River'' is ranked as Japan's fifth-highest album in debut sales, and eighth in the all-time album sales in Japan. The Deep Fork River (Deep Fork of the North Canadian) is an Oklahoma tributary of the North Canadian River. The headwaters flow from northern Oklahoma City and the river empties into the North Canadian River, now impounded by Lake Eufaula. Course and characteristics The Deep Fork begins in and around northern Oklahoma City and flows eastward through Oklahoma County where five miles of the river is impounded by Arcadia Lake. Gladys Alberta Bentley (August 12, 1907 – January 18, 1960) was an American blues singer, pianist, and entertainer during the Harlem Renaissance. is a novel by Shūsaku Endō published in 1993. When he died in 1996, only two novels were chosen to be placed inside his coffin. ''Deep River'' was one of them. Plot summary The story traces the journey of four Japanese tourists on a tour of India in 1984. Each has different purposes and expectations.
