Declan Moore (rugby Union)
Declan Moore (born 15 September 1996) is a New Zealand-born, Australian rugby union player who plays for Irish United Rugby Championship club Ulster. He plays as a hooker. Born in New Zealand, Moore moved to Australia at a young age. He has played most of his senior rugby for Sydney University in the Shute Shield, also representing Sydney during the 2019 National Rugby Championship. Super Rugby club Melbourne Rebels selected Moore in their squad for the 2020 Super Rugby season and the 2020 Super Rugby AU season, but he made no appearances for the club during these competitions. Moore was also selected for the Australian under-20s squad, though injury denied him any caps. Moore joined Irish United Rugby Championship and Champions Cup club Munster on a deal for the 2021–22 season in September 2021. The European Rugby Champions Cup (known as the Heineken Champions Cup for sponsorship reasons) is an annual rugby union tournament organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the top-tier competition for clubs who compete in a predominantly European league. Clubs qualify for the Champions Cup via their final positions in their respective national/regional leagues (English Premiership, French Top 14, and United Rugby Championship) or via winning the second-tier Challenge Cup; those that do not qualify are instead eligible to compete in the second-tier Challenge Cup. Connacht Rugby ( ga, Rugbaí Connachta) is one of the four professional provincial rugby teams from the island of Ireland. Connacht competes in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup. 2021–22 United Rugby Championship
The 2021–22 United Rugby Championship was the twenty-first season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League. It was the first season that the competition is referred to as the United Rugby Championship, having previously been known as the Pro14. Scott Buckley (born 13 June 2000) is an Irish rugby union player who plays as a hooker for United Rugby Championship club Munster. Early life Buckley attended Christian Brothers College and captained the school to victory in the 2019 Munster Schools Rugby Senior Cup, scoring the crucial try that secured a 5–3 win against fierce rivals Presentation Brothers College in the final and a record 30th cup for Christians. Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup Pool Stage
The 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup pool stage was the first stage of the 27th season of European club rugby union, and the eighth under the European Rugby Champions Cup format. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic delaying the end of the 2019–20 tournament, twenty-four clubs from the three major European domestic and regional leagues competed in the Champions Cup on a one-year exceptional basis. Several round 2 matches between teams from France and the UK were postponed. This was due to new travel restrictions between the UK and France introduced by the French government on 18 December 2021. Castlerea
Castlerea (; ) is the third largest town in County Roscommon, Ireland. It is located in the west of the county and had a population of 1,992 at the 2016 Census. Roughly translated from Irish, Castlerea is generally thought to mean 'brindled castle' (Caisleán Riabhach). An alternative translation is 'castle of the king' (Caisleán Rí).
