A decade () is a period of ten years. Decades may describe any ten-year period, such as those of a person's life, or refer to specific groupings of calendar years. Usage Any period of ten years is a "decade". For example, the statement that "during his last decade, Mozart explored chromatic harmony to a degree rare at the time" merely refers to the last ten years of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's life without regard to which calendar years are encompassed. ''Decade (Live at the El Mocambo)'' is the first live album by Canadian rock band Silverstein, released on June 8, 2010 on Victory. Background and release On April 23, 2010, the band announced through their official Facebook page that ''Decade (Live at the El Mocambo)'' was to be released on June 8, 2010. It was filmed and recorded during March 18–21, 2010 during the band's 10th anniversary shows. The show was filmed by Robby Starbuck, who had previously directed the music videos of "Vices" and "American Dream" for the band. Four cameras were used, presumably limited by the size of the venue. Each day the band played one of their four full-length albums in its entirety to celebrate 10 years as a band. They announced that ''Decade'' would be 'the best of' the performances. Alesana ( ) is an American post-hardcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina. The group was founded by Shawn Milke, Dennis Lee and Patrick Thompson during the fall of 2004, and is currently signed to Revival Recordings and Artery Recordings. This is the discography of Dir En Grey, a Japanese heavy metal band. They have recorded eleven original studio albums, three EPs and thirty one singles in their twenty four years together. Each of the band's releases has charted on Japan's Oricon charts. Dir En Grey made their earliest releases as an independent band with Free-Will, eventually signing a temporary deal with Warner Music Japan. Kerry Allen Livgren (born September 18, 1949) is an American musician, best known as one of the founding members and primary songwriters for the American rock band Kansas. Biography Livgren was raised in Topeka, Kansas, by his father Allen Leroy, an industrial engineer, and his mother Betty ( McElhiney). He was drawn to music at a young age, and his first musical interests developed with classical and jazz influences.
