Christopher Stein (born January 5, 1950) is an American musician known as the co-founder and guitarist of the new wave band Blondie. He is also a producer and performer for the classic soundtrack of the hip hop film '' Wild Style'', and writer of the soundtrack for the film '' Union City'', as well as an accomplished photographer. "Feel the Spin" is a 1985 song by the American vocalist Debbie Harry, featured on the soundtrack album for the film ''Krush Groove'' (1985). The song was co-written by Harry and producers John "Jellybean" Benitez and Toni C. (the latter of whom would go on to collaborate with Harry again on many of her solo albums). Both producers went on to work with Whitney Houston on her 1988 hit "Love Will Save the Day", from her album ''Whitney''. "Feel the Spin" was released as an extended 12" single on Warner Bros. "The Jam Was Moving" is the second single from Debbie Harry's debut solo album, ''KooKoo''. It was released in 1981 with no video and little promotion after Harry's debut solo single, "Backfired", failed to become a big hit. Background The single peaked at #82 on the ''Billboard'' Pop Singles chart in the US, but made no appearance on any other major chart. The 7" Mix of "The Jam Was Moving" (featuring additional guitars during the intro) appears on the Chrysalis Records/EMI compilation ''Most of All - The Best of Deborah Harry''. ''Def, Dumb & Blonde'' is the third solo studio album by the American singer Debbie Harry, Deborah Harry. Released in October 1989 on Sire Records in the US and Chrysalis Records in the UK, the album saw Harry reverting from "Debbie" to "Deborah" as her professional name. Harry worked with a variety of producers on the album, including Tom Bailey (musician), Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins and Mike Chapman who had previously produced the last four Blondie (band), Blondie albums. The Olympics are an American doo-wop group, formed in 1957 by lead singer Walter Ward (August 28, 1940 – December 11, 2006). "Backfired" is the debut solo single from American singer and Blondie vocalist Debbie Harry. Released in 1981, it was taken from her debut solo studio album, ''KooKoo''. Song information "Backfired" peaked at number 32 in the UK, and number 43 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 (though it remains Harry's highest-charting solo single in the US). It also peaked at number 71 on the US Hot Soul Singles chart, and number 29 on the Dance chart. The single also managed to become a hit in only a few other countries including Sweden and Australia. In an attempt to distinguish herself as a solo artist, Harry's image upon the single's release was quite different from her established image with Blondie.
