Mathew Anikuzhikattil
Mathew Anikuzhikattil (23 September 1942 – 1 May 2020) was a Syro-Malabar Catholic bishop who spearheaded anti Kasthurirangan and Gadgil commission protests. He served as bishop of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Idukki, India, from 2003 to 2018. Life Anikuzhikattil was born in Kadaplamattom in Kottayam district, although he was raised in Kunchithanny in Idukki district. He was ordained as a priest on 15 March 1971 at his home parish of Holy Family church in Kunchithanny by Mathew Pothanamuzhi. On 15 January 2003 Pope John Paul II announced the creation of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Idukki with Anikuzhikattil as the first bishop. On 2 March 2003 Anikuzhikattil was consecrated a bishop and the eparchy was inaugurated by Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. Košarkaški klub Proleter ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб Пролетер), commonly referred to as KK Proleter Zrenjanin, is a men's professional basketball club based in Zrenjanin, Serbia. They currently participates in the Second Basketball League of Serbia. The club is also known as Proleter Naftagas due to sponsorship reasons. They are the only club in Serbia outside Belgrade which won a national title. History Formed in 1947, they immediately became one of the leading clubs in the Yugoslavia. Oakland Athletics
The Oakland Athletics (often referred to as the A's) are an American professional baseball team based in Oakland, California. Matthew Lon Keough ( ; July 3, 1955 – May 1, 2020) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a right-handed pitcher from through for the Oakland Athletics (1977–1983), New York Yankees (1983–1984), St. Louis Cardinals (1985), Chicago Cubs (1986) and Houston Astros (1986). After his time in MLB, Keough pitched in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Hanshin Tigers for 4 seasons from 1987 through 1990. Keough batted and threw right-handed. The General Staff of the Swiss Armed Forces (german: Generalstab Schweizer Armee was the managing military staff of Switzerland. It was led by a Chief of the General Staff who held the rank of Korpskommandant ( NATO: OF-8). He/she was effectively the highest-ranking officer in the Swiss military. Ben Hoekendijk
Ben Hoekendijk (30 June 1938 – 1 May 2020) was a Dutch speaker, evangelist and pastor. Hoekendijk was born in Baarn. He was the founder and director of the Opwekking Foundation which made him one of the faces of the Dutch Pentecostal movement. Later he became an active sailor and sports journalist. Hoekendijk died in Harderwijk where he lived on 1 May 2020, aged 81. Early life Hoekendijk was born as the fourth child of Karel Hoekendijk and Elisabeth Hoekendijk-La Rivière. He received a Christian education, but experienced the faith himself at a point in time. After the deepening of his parents' faith in 1953, his brother and both sisters soon came, and finally Hoekendijk himself crossed the bridge of faith. Anne Heaton (ballet Dancer)
Anne Heaton (19 November 1930 – 1 May 2020) was a British ballet dancer and teacher. Anne Heaton was born in Rawalpindi in November 1930. She studied in Birmingham from 1937 to 1943, and then with Sadler's Wells Ballet School. She made her debut in 1945 with Sadler's Wells Opera. In 1946 she joined Sadler's Wells Theatre Ballet creating roles in Howard's Mardi Gras (1947) and Ashton's Valses nobles et sentimentales (1947) among others. In 1948, she moved to Sadler's Wells Ballet at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden where she became a principal. She excelled in romantic ballets like ''Les Sylphides'' in 1948, ''A Mirror for Witches'' (1952) and ''Giselle'' in 1954, but also created roles in Kenneth MacMillan, MacMillan's ''The Burrow'' (1958) and ''The Invitation (ballet), The Invitation'' (1960). The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory (known in short as the ACT Legislative Assembly) is the unicameral legislature of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). It sits in the Legislative Assembly Building on Civic Square, close to the centre of the city of Canberra. Creation The Assembly was created by four acts of the Commonwealth Parliament in 1988, including the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988.
