Deadwood '76
''Deadwood '76'' is a 1965 American Techniscope Western film directed by James Landis and starring Arch Hall Jr. and Jack Lester. Plot A drifter, Billy May (Arch Hall Jr.) arrives in Deadwood, South Dakota. A child misidentifies him as Billy the Kid and the town turns against him. He becomes a fugitive chased by Wild Bill Hickok. He runs into his long lost father who was a Civil War Veteran for the Confederacy. His father has made friends with a tribe of Indians and admires the leadership of the elders in the tribe. He plans on joining forces and tries to get Billy to join but Billy is not interested. He is interested in finding gold and living in peace however that is not what is in store for poor Billy. Robert Dix
Robert Warren Brimmer (May 8, 1935 – August 6, 2018), known professionally as Robert Dix, was an American film actor. He appeared in 50 films between 1954 and 1974. Biographic data Dix was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actor Richard Dix. As a teenager, he left home after his mother remarried. Dix initially was billed as Bob Brimmer, using his legal name. For a year, he worked with the National Academy of Theater Arts in New York City. Following that experience, he gained a two-year contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. He later appeared in ''Forbidden Planet'' (1956), ''Forty Guns'' (1957), and other films including a lead role in Maury Dexter's Air Patrol. Harper MacKay (October 13, 1921 — June 2, 1995) was an American pianist, music director, and composer and arranger of music for television and film. He was the longtime music director of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera and was also the music director for singer Ann Blyth; serving as her arranger and accompanist in concert. He was also music director and accompanist for comedienne Phyllis Diller and for lyricist Sammy Cahn; the latter of whom toured nationally in concerts singing his own music. Arch Hall Jr. (born December 2, 1943) is an American former actor. Early career Born in Van Nuys, California, Hall began his career as a teen actor and musician, appearing in a number of early 1960s films that were all produced by his father, Arch Hall Sr. Most of Hall Jr.'s films featured his particular musical abilities, a teenager's tenor voice and guitar riffs played with swamp blues inflection. Hall was also the frontman for the rock n' roll combo Arch Hall Jr. and the Archers. The band, formed with high school friend Alan O'Day (who later wrote No. 1 pop hits in the 1970s) played Sunset Strip clubs such as the Whisky a Go Go and Pandora's Box.
