''De tal palo tal astilla'' (English translation: ''A Chip Off the Old Block'') is a 1960 Mexican western comedy film directed by Miguel M. Delgado, produced by Jesús Galindo, and released by Filmadora Chapultepec. It stars Luis Aguilar, Eulalio González, Flor Silvestre, and Marina Camacho in the main roles. José María Fernández Unsáin (10 August 1918 – 18 June 1997) was an Argentine film director, screenwriter, and playwright. Biography Although he studied medicine, Fernández Unsain chose literature as his career. He was exiled to Mexico after the 1955 Revolución Libertadora, because of his cultural relationship with Eva Perón and The National Theatre or Comedy, Cervantes National Theatre (first director), and the Labour Worker Theatre of the General Confederation of Workers (CGT) (founder with others artists and directors). Eulalio "Lalo" González Ramírez (16 December 1921 – 1 September 2003), nicknamed "Piporro", was a Mexican actor, humorist, singer-songwriter, screenwriter, announcer, film director, and film producer. Early life González was born in the home of his maternal grandfather (Martín Ramírez) in Los Herrera, Nuevo León, to Pablo González Barrera, a customs officer from Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas, and his wife Elvira Ramírez González. Luis Aguilar (actor)
Luis Aguilar Manzo (29 January 1918 – 24 October 1997) was a Mexican film and television actor and singer. He was also known as ''El Gallo Giro'', and was noted for his performances in films as ''El 7 leguas'' (1955) and ''El látigo negro'' (1958). Aguilar was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He was given his first leading role in the film '' Sota, Caballo y Rey'' (1944). He had two daughters (Anna Luisa y Martha Fernanda Aguilar) from his first marriage, and one son (Luis Aguilar Doblado) from his second marriage with Rosario Gálvez. Guillermina Jiménez Chabolla (16 August 1930 – 25 November 2020), known professionally as Flor Silvestre, was a Mexican singer and actress. Estudios Churubusco
Estudios Churubusco is one of the oldest and largest movie studios in Mexico. It is located in the Churubusco neighborhood of Mexico City. History It was inaugurated in 1945 after a 1943 agreement between RKO and Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta (of Televisa).
