	De La Salle School, Basildon De La Salle School is a Roman Catholic voluntary aided school located in Basildon, Essex for boys and girls aged 11 to 16, in the Trusteeship of the La Sallian Brothers, and within the Diocese of Brentwood. History The school was founded in September 1972 as St Anselm's Roman Catholic Secondary School, the first comprehensive secondary school in the district of Basildon established after the tripartite system was no longer implemented in Essex. Its name was changed to De La Salle School in 1996, after the French priest and educator Jean-Baptiste de la Salle. The school was awarded Language College specialist status in 2008. 	De La Salle School, St Helens De La Salle School, St Helens is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive Roman Catholic high school which is linked to the worldwide La Sallian community. The school in its current form was created in 1987 after the amalgamation of several Roman Catholic high schools in the area (West Park, Notre Dame, St. Edmund Campion and Mount Carmel). Its trustees are the De La Salle Brothers, who have a house nearby. There are 1200 pupils, and about 140 staff. 	Dixons Croxteth Academy Dixons Croxteth Academy is a co-educational secondary and sixth form school in the Croxteth area of Liverpool, England, with no formal faith affiliation. Until 2022 it was a Catholic school for boys. History Grammar school It was known as the De La Salle Grammar School until 1983 and was originally based on Breckfield Road South in Everton. The new school site is that of the former Central School, and was rebuilt in 1954. By the 1960s, it had around 700 boys. Comprehensive In 1983, the school became De La Salle RC Comprehensive School.
