DeUnna Hendrix
DeUnna Hendrix is an American women's basketball former coach and former basketball player. She previously served as the women's basketball head coach at Miami University. Prior to that, she served as the women's basketball head coach at High Point University. Early life and education Hendrix is from Kokomo, Indiana. She attended the University of Richmond where she played college basketball. Hendrix was twice named team captain and played in the 2005 NCAA tournament and 2006 WNIT Semi-Finals. While at Richmond, she earned a bachelor's degree in rhetoric and communications. Hendrix played basketball professionally in the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League with the Jacksonville Cougars in 2008. Coaching career Hendrix began her coaching career in women's basketball at Jacksonville as an assistant under Jill Dunn from 2007 to 2011. The 2019 Women's National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 64 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2019 Women's NCAA tournament. The tournament committee announced the 64-team field on March 18, following the selection of the NCAA Tournament field. The tournament began on March 20, 2019, and concluded on April 6, 2019, with the championship game televised on the CBS Sports Network.
