''Days of the Bagnold Summer'' is the tenth studio album by Scottish band Belle and Sebastian. Released on 13 September 2019 through Matador Records, it serves as a soundtrack for the 2020 film of the same name directed by Simon Bird. The first single from the album, "Sister Buddha" was released on 1 July 2019. The second single "This Letter" was released on 5 September 2019. The album contains 11 new songs (including “Safety Valve” written by Stuart Murdoch before Belle and Sebastian formed). ''If You're Feeling Sinister'' is the second album by the Scottish indie pop band Belle and Sebastian. It was released in 1996 on Jeepster Records in the United Kingdom and in 1997 by Matador Records in the United States. It is often ranked among the best albums of the 1990s. Band leader Stuart Murdoch said ''If You're Feeling Sinister'' is probably his best collection of songs. In 2005, Belle and Sebastian released a live version, '' If You're Feeling Sinister: Live at the Barbican.'' ''This Is Just a Modern Rock Song'' is Belle & Sebastian's fourth extended play, EP, released in 1998 in music, 1998 on Jeepster Records. The front cover features Alan Horne, founder of Postcard Records. It is the only Belle & Sebastian release never to be issued in North America, although all four tracks from the EP were later collected on the ''Push Barman to Open Old Wounds'' compilation. A chart ruling was put into place shortly before the EP was released stating singles or EPs must contain no more than three tracks and last no longer than 20 minutes in total to be eligible for the UK singles sales chart, and thus – with its four tracks and carefully crafted total running time – ''This Is Just a Modern Rock Song'' failed to chart. Simon Antony Bird (born 19 August 1984) is an English comedian, actor, director and producer. He is best known for playing Will McKenzie in the multi-award-winning E4 comedy series ''The Inbetweeners'' (2008–2010), as well as its two films (2011 and 2014), and Adam Goodman in the Channel 4 comedy series ''Friday Night Dinner'' (2011–2020). Belle and Sebastian are a Scottish indie pop band formed in Glasgow in 1996. Led by Stuart Murdoch, the band has released eleven albums.
