Days in December was a London-based post-hardcore band who released an EP entitled " Countless Hours Making Waves". Biography Formation The band was formed in December 2002 (hence the name) in North West London, England. Debut single "Comfort In Surrounding Space" was released on CD in 2003, and several tours ensued. After numerous lineup changes the band's final incarnation included: Daniel Leigh (vocals), Phil Kinman (lead guitar), Robb Wybrow (guitar & vocals), Rob Turnbridge (bass guitar), and Frankie Torpey (drums). Progression Days in December completed tours alongside Funeral for a Friend (whose drummer Ryan Richards contributed vocals to the track "Last Chance Before The Storm"), Bullet For My Valentine, SikTh, Beloved, Dead Poetic, and Armor for Sleep, as well performances on the 2005 Taste Of Chaos UK tour, at the 2006 "Full Ponty" festival, and at the National Adventure Sports Show. Bruce Dickinson
Paul Bruce Dickinson (born 7 August 1958) is an English singer who has been the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden from 1981 to 1993 and 1999–present. He is known for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence. Dickinson began his career in music fronting small pub bands in the 1970s while attending school in Sheffield and university in London. In 1979, he joined British new wave heavy metal band Samson, with whom he gained some popularity under the stage name "Bruce Bruce" and performed on two studio records. Mark Morriss
Mark James Morriss (born 18 October 1971) is an English singer and songwriter, best known as the frontman for The Bluetones. He is the older brother of bandmate and bass player/illustrator Scott Morriss. He has released four solo albums, worked with Matt Berry's band The Maypoles and sung lead vocals on ''The Helicopter of the Holy Ghost'' project. When not touring with the Bluetones, he regularly plays solo acoustic shows across the UK. Biography Mark Morriss released his debut solo album, '' Memory Muscle'' in May 2008. High Voltage was a music festival, held twice in Victoria Park, London. The event hosted artists from various strands of rock music, including classic rock, progressive rock, and heavy metal. The first festival was held on 24 and 25 July 2010. The second took place on 23 and 24 July 2011. The festival was not held in 2012 to avoid clashing with the 2012 Summer Olympics, London Olympics, and it did not return in 2013. Hard Rock Hell
Hard Rock Hell is a three day music festival held at Vauxhall Holiday resort, Great Yarmouth. It was previously held at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales, and up until 2011 at Pontin's Holiday Village, Prestatyn, Wales. Holding the festival in a holiday camp gives the organisers pre-built venues and stages and because of the on-site accommodation allows them to hold a multi day festival over winter/spring months when outdoor camping is not desirable. Sonisphere Festival
The Sonisphere Festival was a touring rock music festival which took place across Europe between the months of June and August. The festival was owned by John Jackson and Kilimanjaro Live. It was jointly promoted by K2 and Kilimanjaro Live. It hosted heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and BABYMETAL (the latter group would make their UK debut at the 2014 event). Gun (band)
Gun are a Scottish hard rock band from Glasgow. The band currently consists of brothers Dante Gizzi (lead vocals) and Giuliano "Jools" Gizzi (guitar), along with Paul McManus (drums), Andy Carr (bass) and Tommy Gentry (guitar). Starting in 1989 with ''Taking on the World'', Gun have released seven studio albums, three of which have made the UK Top 20, and had eight UK Top 40 hit singles.
