Daye Jack is a Nigerian-American hip hop artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He is best known for his single "Hands Up" featuring Killer Mike which peaked at #14 on the Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists chart. Early life and education Jack was born in Port Harcourt, the capital and largest city of Rivers State, Nigeria 1 February 1996. He grew up in Atlanta. His father was originally from Nigeria but grew up in California. His father later returned to Nigeria to marry Jack's mother and then moved back to Atlanta. Jack got involved in programming while in high school and went on to attend New York University. It was during his time at NYU that he began his music career. Career Jack released his first mixtape, ''Hello World'', at the age of 18 while attending NYU. He released it on SoundCloud and was soon contacted by numerous blogs who asked him to submit new music. ''Blue Lips'' is the third studio album by Swedish singer Tove Lo. It was released on 17 November 2017 by Island Records. ''Blue Lips'' is considered the second half of a two-piece concept album that describe "highs, lows and ultimate demise of a relationship." Its chapters "Light Beams" and "Pitch Black" succeed the chapters "Fairy Dust" and "Fire Fade" from her previous album ''Lady Wood'' (2016). In addition to the return of songwriter-producers such as the Struts, Ali Payami and Joe Janiak, the album features new collaborations with Alex Hope and Lulou, among others. Daye Jack is the only featured artist on the album. Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson (born 29 October 1987), known professionally as Tove Lo (), is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She has been called "Sweden's darkest pop export" by ''Rolling Stone.''
