Day Of The Diesels
''Thomas & Friends: Day of the Diesels'' is a 2011 British computer-animated adventure film and feature-length special of the British television series, ''Thomas & Friends''. It is the first (and only) special to be a spin-off around a character from the series; so the star is Thomas' best friend Percy. The film is produced by HIT Entertainment and animated by Nitrogen Studios. Plot New engine, Belle extinguishes a fire, but runs out of water. Thomas and Percy take her to the Steamworks where Sir Topham Hatt congratulates her and says they need another fire engine. Greg Tiernan
Gregory Tiernan (born June 19, 1965) is an Ireland, Irish-born, Canadians, Canadian-based animator, director and voice artist. Along with his wife Nicole Stinn, he founded Nitrogen Studios Canada, Inc. in 2003, through which he introduced Computer-generated imagery, CGI to the ''Thomas & Friends'' series. Prior to this, Tiernan collaborated on various projects with filmmaker Don Bluth, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Klasky Csupo, Inc. Nitrogen Studios was purchased by Cinesite and he now works for them. Tiernan made his feature film debut with the long-gestating R-rated animated film ''Sausage Party'' (2016), joining Conrad Vernon to direct production of a story conceived by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Jonah Hill. Nicolas Michael Angelis (29 April 1944 – 30 May 2020) was an English actor. Martin Sherman (actor)
Martin T. Sherman is an American actor, director, writer and inventor. Career Sherman has starred in several films and television as well as providing voice acting for several video games, including Pac-Man in ''Pac-Man World 3'', the first time the character ever had a voice actor in his games. From 2009 to 2015, Sherman voiced Thomas and Percy in the US version of the television series ''Thomas & Friends ,''as well as providing the voices for their Day out with Thomas dummy units (and steam locomotive at the Strasburg railroad). He also voiced Diesel in the show's US dub from 2013 to 2015, taking over from former US narrator Michael Brandon. After Sherman's departure from the series, Joseph May, Christopher Ragland and Kerry Shale had taken over the roles of Thomas, Percy and Diesel, respectively, though Shale had already voiced the character in the UK dub. The Fat Controller, whose real name is Sir Topham Hatt, is a fictional character in ''The Railway Series'' books written by the Reverend W. Awdry and his son, Christopher Awdry.
