Davos Dorf railway station (german: Bahnhof Davos Dorf) is a railway station in the municipality of Davos, in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It is an intermediate stop on the Landquart–Davos Platz line of the Rhaetian Railway. Northbound, there is an hourly service towards Landquart. Southbound, there is an hourly service to Davos Platz. The station also serves as a hub for local bus services. Davos Platz station is located about 2.5 km southwest of Davos Dorf. Rhaetian Railway Ge 4/4 III
The Rhaetian Railway Ge 4/4 III is a class of metre gauge Bo′Bo′ electric locomotives of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB), which is the main railway network in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The class is so named because it was the third class of locomotives of the Swiss locomotive and railcar classification type ''Ge 4/4'' to be acquired by the Rhaetian Railway. According to that classification system, Ge 4/4 denotes a narrow gauge electric adhesion locomotive with a total of four axles, all of which are drive axles. Rhaetian Railway
The Rhaetian Railway (german: Rhätische Bahn; it, Ferrovia retica; rm, Viafier retica), abbreviated RhB, is a Swiss transport company that owns the largest network of all private railway operators in Switzerland. RegioExpress (RE) is a fast regional train service in Switzerland, run by Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) or other railway companies (such as TILO, BLS, tpf, transN, THURBO or RhB). It is comparable to the Regional-Express in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg. Regional rail, also known as local trains and stopping trains, are passenger rail services that operate between towns and cities.
