As a skater, his competitive career was cut short when he was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease. Following surgery on his knee, then 18-year-old Wilson toured with Ice Capades in North America. With his then-partner, Jean-Pierre Boulais, Wilson settled in Montreal and began working as a choreographer. Their breakout client was Sébastien Britten. Jeremy Barrett (figure Skater)
Jeremy Barrett (born April 10, 1984) is an American former pair skater. With Caydee Denney, he became the 2010 U.S. national champion and competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics. During the pairs short program at the 2010 Olympics, Denney and Barrett became the first team to land a throw triple Lutz jump at any Winter Olympic competition. Personal life Barrett was born on April 10, 1984, in Sarasota, Florida. He married former pair skater Lucy Galleher on April 30, 2016, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Emily Anne Hughes (born January 26, 1989) is an American former figure skater. She is the 2007 Four Continents silver medalist and 2007 U.S. national silver medalist. She competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics, finishing 7th. Personal life Hughes was born in Great Neck, New York. Her father, John Hughes, was a Canadian of Irish descent, and was the captain of the NCAA champion 1969–70 Cornell University ice hockey team. Her mother, Amy Pastarnack, is Jewish and is a breast cancer survivor. Hughes has supported a variety of causes for breast cancer research and awareness, including Skating for Life, a television special that she promoted on NBC's Today show. She has five siblings. Lesley Hawker (born May 1, 1981) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. Alexe Gilles (born January 16, 1992) is an American former competitive figure skater. Gilles is the 2008 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist and the 2008 U.S. national junior champion. Geng Bingwa (; born January 3, 1994) is a Chinese figure skater. She won the silver medal in 2008 and 2011 at the Chinese Figure Skating Championships, and reached the free skate at five International Skating Union Championships. Ben Ferreira (born April 5, 1979) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2004 Skate Canada International silver medallist, the 2004 Bofrost Cup on Ice silver medallist, and a three-time Canadian national medallist. Career Ferreira placed 12th at the 1998 World Junior Championships. In the 1999–2000 season, he won the bronze medal at the Canadian Championships.
