David South
David South (also known as "David Del Sur") is an American musician and filmmaker. He is a co-founder of Mono Prism and currently plays bass guitar in SISU, NYC punk band Flowers of Evil, and the solo project of A Place to Bury Strangers bassist Dion Lunadon. In the past, South has been a member of The Valley Arena, and has performed with Young Boys, Haunted Hearts, and Crocodiles. His motion work continues to expand, but includes music videos for Gardens & Villa and SISU. South created Mono Prism in 2012 as a springboard for people involved in music, film, and print projects. He lives and works in NYC's Lower East Side. Mono Prism
Mono Prism was founded by David Del Sur during 2012 as a springboard for people involved in music, film, and print projects. Their first production was a music video for the Gardens & Villa song "Spacetime" off of their 2011 release, Gardens & Villa (Secretly Canadian). In 2013, Mono Prism Records released two albums for SISU, ''Light Eyes'' EP and ''Blood Tears'' LP. Mono Prism went on to produce live visuals for several SISU tours in support of Dirty Beaches, Crocodiles, and Cat Power. They are based in the Lower East Side, New York City. Sisu (band)
Sisu is an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, founded in 2009 by Sandra Vu. The band consists of Vu (vocals, guitar, flute), Ryan Wood (bass, synth), David South (bass), Julianna Medeiros (keyboards, backing vocals) and Nathanael Keefer (drums). Sisu employs traditional and electronic instruments, and their sound has been categorized as psychedelic pop, electronic and shoegaze. Dion Lunadon
Dion Lunadon (born 4 March 1976) is a New Zealand born musician. He is known for being the guitarist and singer of The D4 and bass player in A Place To Bury Strangers. He is also known for his high energy and often unpredictable stage presence. Early life Lunadon was born Dion Palmer in Auckland, New Zealand. Career Lunadon played with a number of New Zealand bands, including The Snitches, Marty Sauce and The Source, Nothing at All! and The Rainy Days. He has also played bass and sang with The Scavengers at various reformation shows Lunadon was a member of the New Zealand rock band The D4, who produced 2 albums and several E.P.s and singles. Crocodiles are a noise pop/indie pop band from San Diego, California, US. The group was formed in 2008 by core members Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell after the break-up of their former punk bands Some Girls and The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower. Crocodiles' sound has typically been likened to The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Archies, and Tommy James & The Shondells.
