David Sims (born 1966) is a British fashion photographer who first made his name in the early 1990s with magazines such as ''The Face'' and '' i-D''. Commercial career Sims was born in Sheffield. He worked first as a photographer's assistant with Robert Erdmann and Norman Watson. He was taken on by a photography agency and his work began to feature in editorial pages of magazines such as ''i-D'', ''The Face'' ''Vogue'' and ''Arena Homme Plus''. David Sims (born October 20, 1986) is a former American football safety. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football for Iowa State University. He has also been a member of the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Toronto Argonauts. Professional career Sims was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on July 28, 2011. He was released prior to the start of the regular season. He was signed by Tampa Bay as a free agent on November 1, but was released three days later. He then signed with the Cleveland Browns practice squad on November 29 where he remained for the rest of the season. Dave Sim (born 17 May 1956) is a Canadian cartoonist and publisher, best known for his comic book ''Cerebus'', his artistic experimentation, his advocacy of self-publishing and creators' rights, and his controversial political and philosophical beliefs.
