David O'Sullivan (hurler)
David O'Sullivan (born 5 November 1988 in Ballygunner) is an Irish hurler who plays for both the Waterford Inter-county hurling team and the Ballygunner GAA club. His brother Brian O'Sullivan is currently also a panel member on the Waterford Senior Hurling Team. He made his championship debut against Limerick on 12 June 2011. Playing career Club O'Sullivan plays his club hurling with Ballygunner in Waterford. His father Tagh managed the senior team in 1998. He won his 1st County Medal in 2009. College O'Sullivan played college hurling for De La Salle College in Waterford. While there, he won a Harty Cups and an All-Ireland Colleges medals in 2007 co-captaining the team alongside Craig Molony. Inter-county O'Sullivan was named on the Waterford Senior Hurling Panel in 2011. He made his competitive debut against Cork in the 2011 National Hurling League. Ballygunner GAA
Ballygunner GAA (nicknamed "The Gunners") is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club located in the parish of St Mary's Ballygunner in Waterford City, Ireland. The are the current All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship title holders. The club, which is exclusively concerned with hurling, is one of the most successful in Waterford. It has won 20 county titles and produced many great players for Waterford such as Paul Flynn, Fergal Hartley, Billy O'Sullivan and Pauric Mahony. Ballygunner has an intense rivalry with fellow city club Mount Sion and for many years in the 1990s and 2000s the two dominated the club scene. Since 1992, Ballygunner have won 17 county titles. The Munster Senior title was first won in 2001 with a victory over Cork side Blackrock (2-14 to 0-12). A second crown came in 2018, and a third in 2021–22. Páirc Uí Chaoimh ( ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Cork (city), Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is the home of Cork GAA. The 2011 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 123rd staging of the All-Ireland championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The draw for the 2011 fixtures took place on 7 October 2010. The championship began on 14 May and ended on 4 September 2011. Tipperary were the defending champions. Kilkenny secured the title with a 2-17 to 1-16 defeat of Tipperary in the All-Ireland final. This was their 33rd All-Ireland title, their eighth in twelve championship seasons. Teams A total of fourteen teams will contest the championship, including thirteen teams from the 2010 championship and one promoted team from the 2010 Christy Ring Cup. Richard 'Richie' Foley (born 22 July 1987) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Abbeyside and with the Waterford senior inter-county team. Foley usually plays at either midfield or in the half-back line. Career ;Club Foley has played at all underage levels for his club and has the notable achievement of winning county championships at every single underage grade. He currently plays at midfield for Abbeyside. In 2008, Abbeyside reached the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship Final. However, Abbeyside and Foley went on to lose the final to De La Salle.
