David Martin (tight End)
David Earl Martin (born March 13, 1979) is a former American football tight end and is currently the tight ends coach at Maryville College. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He also played for the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. He played college football at Tennessee. Martin is married to fellow Tennessee alum and five-time All-American sprinter Kameisha Bennett. They have two children together: Darius (born 2003) and Devyn (born 2007). Early years Martin did not play football until his final two years at Norview High School in Norfolk, Virginia, yet was rated as the ninth-best prospect in Virginia by SuperPrep at the end of his senior season. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. Anthony Joseph Fasano (born April 20, 1984) is a former American football tight end. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Notre Dame. Fasano also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, and Miami Dolphins. Randy Montez McMichael (born June 28, 1979) is a former American football tight end in the National Football He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft.
