David Marsh (swimming Coach)
David "Dave" Marsh (born December 29, 1958) is the head coach of Team Elite in San Diego, California, and the ‘Professional Adviser’ of the Israel Swimming Association. Marsh worked to build Team Elite under SwimMAC Carolina since 2007. Prior to founding Team Elite he was the men's and women's swimming coach at Auburn University. After becoming head coach of Auburn in 1990, Marsh led the men's team to seven NCAA national championships (1997, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007) and the women's team to five national championships (2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007). He finished his coaching career at Auburn at the conclusion of the 2007 season, after which he became the Head Elite Coach and CEO of the United States Olympic Committee Center of Excellence with SwimMAC Carolina. Ryan Lochte
Ryan Steven Lochte ( ; born August 3, 1984) is an American professional swimmer and 12-time Olympic medalist. Along with Natalie Coughlin, Dara Torres, and Jenny Thompson, he is the second-most decorated swimmer in Olympic history measured by total number of medals, behind only Michael Phelps. Lochte's seven individual Olympic medals rank second in history in men's swimming (again to Michael Phelps), tied for second among all Olympic swimmers. He currently holds the world records in the 200-meter individual medley (long and short course). The 2016 USA Swimming United States Olympic trials (swimming), Olympic trials were held for the third straight quadrennial at CenturyLink Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska from June 26 to July 3, 2016. Those qualifying competed for the United States in Swimming at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Qualification criteria A maximum of 52 swimmers (26 of each sex, not including open water swimmers) were chosen for the 2016 Summer Olympics. To make the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Olympic team, a swimmer must place in the top two in one of the thirteen individual events. Katie Meili
Catherine Michelle "Katie" Meili (born April 16, 1991) is a former American competitive swimmer, who won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 100 meter breaststroke and a gold medal for swimming the preliminary heats of the 4 × 100-meter medley relay. In 2020, Meili joined USA Swimming Board of Directors for a four-year term as their Athlete Representative. Personal life Meili was born in Carrollton, Texas, and her hometown is Colleyville, Texas. She graduated from Nolan Catholic High School in 2009 and Columbia University in 2013. As of 2019 she attends Georgetown Law School and is an assistant coach for their swim team. James Feigen (born September 26, 1989) is a former American competition swimmer who specializes in freestyle events. He won a gold medal for the 4x100-meter freestyle relay for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Previously, he won a silver medal as a member of the second-place U.S. team in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Personal life Feigen was born in Hilo, Hawaii. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas in 2008, and swam for the Churchill Chargers high school swim team. Kathleen Baker
Kathleen Baker (born February 28, 1997) is an American competition swimmer who specializes in freestyle and backstroke events. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal in the 4x100-meter medley relay and a silver medal in the individual 100-meter backstroke. She is the former world-record holder in 100 meter backstroke, set on July 28, 2018 in 58.00 at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine, CA. Baker is also the former world-record holder in the 4x100 meter medley relay with Lilly King, Dana Vollmer, and Simone Manuel.
