David Jameson (field Hockey)
David Jameson (born November 1, 1984, in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a field hockey player from Canada, who was first selected to the Men's National Team for the 2002 Belgium Tour. He is the brother of Canada women's national field hockey team player Stephanie Jameson. Stephanie Jameson
Stephanie Jameson (born January 23, 1982) is a former Canadian women's field hockey international. Between 2012 and 2017 she held the record as Canada's most capped women's field hockey international. She represented Canada at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games, at the 2003, 2007 and 2011 Pan American Games and at the 2004 and 2009 Women's Pan American Cups. She won three CIS Championship titles with UBC Thunderbirds in 2001, 2003 and 2004. She also played for Ulster Elks in the Women's Irish Hockey League and helped them win the 2014–15 Irish Senior Cup. Field Hockey Canada (FHC) is the National sport, national sports organization responsible for the development and growth of field hockey in Canada. In collaboration with provincial and club members, FHC provides programs and resources to support the field hockey community from the pitch to the podium. Prior to 1991, the Canadian men’s and women’s field hockey programs were operating independently as separate national entities. The creation of Field Hockey Canada was the result of transitioning and uniting both programs under one umbrella. National Teams include Canada men's national field hockey team, Senior Men, Canada women's national field hockey team, Senior Women, Junior Men and Junior Women. Approximately 18,000 Canadians play field hockey, with 9,000 participating in high school field hockey programs.
