	David J. Halberstam David J. Halberstam (born October 7, 1951) was the EVP/General Manager of Westwood One Sports. Previously, he was the play-by-play announcer for the Miami Heat The Miami Heat are an American professional basketball team based in Miami. At one time, it was managed by CBS Radio, and was later purchased by the private equity firm, The Gores Group.
