David Holt (born 1966) is an Australian and former England international lawn and indoor bowler. He started bowling aged 12 joining the Winton crown green bowls club. Holt won a gold medal in the fours with John Ottaway, Simon Skelton and Robert Newman at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. One year later he won the pairs with Tony Allcock in the 2003 World Indoor Bowls Championship in Yarmouth. David Duff Holt (born 3 January 1936) is a Scottish former international footballer who played as a left back. During his playing career, Holt made more than 300 appearances in the Scottish Football League for Queen's Park, Heart of Midlothian and Partick Thistle between 1957 and 1970. At Hearts (who were reigning Scottish champions at the time he joined the club), Holt won the 1962–63 Scottish League Cup during his nine-year spell at Tynecastle Park and was an important member of the team which only missed out on the 1964–65 Scottish Division One title on goal average. However, he was released on a free transfer in 1969 and later stated he felt he had been badly treated by the club. David Holt (born March 10, 1979) is an American attorney, businessman and Republican politician who is the 36th mayor of Oklahoma City. He is a member of the Osage Nation. He is the youngest mayor of Oklahoma City since 1923; during his first year in office, he was the youngest mayor of a U.S. city over 500,000. He is Oklahoma City's first Native American mayor. His signature achievement as mayor has been the passage of MAPS 4 in 2019, a $1.1 billion initiative including 16 projects, which voters approved in a landslide. He served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018, eventually as majority whip.
