David Greenhill
David Greenhill (born 8 July 1985 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish professional footballer, who plays in midfield, for Broxburn Athletic. He was capped by the Scotland Schoolboys in 2002. Career Greenhill began his career with St Johnstone, although he did not play for the first team. He then moved to Clyde on a full-time deal and played in their under-19 side for a year, before moving up the first team in the 2004–05 season. He made his senior début coming off the bench against Raith Rovers in August 2004. He was then sent out to Montrose on a season long loan, but this was cut short, and he returned to Clyde at Christmas due to injury. He played for Clyde a further 4 times before leaving in July 2005. He spent a year at Alloa Athletic before moving to Berwick Rangers, where he helped the club achieve promotion from the Third Division in the 2006–07 season. Lowland Football League
The Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL, commonly known as the Lowland League) is a senior football league based in central and southern Scotland. The league sits at level 5 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Scottish Professional Football League, and is above three regional leagues at level 6. Founded in 2013, it is currently composed of 19 member clubs in a single division. Geographically, the league covers an area south of Dundee in the Lowlands area of Scotland. The Scottish Football League Third Division was the fourth tier of the Scottish football league system between 1994 and 2013. History The Scottish football league system had operated with three divisions in the Scottish Football League (SFL) from 1975. In 1994, as part of reconstruction to allow the admission of Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County to the league, the SFL was recalibrated to give four divisions of 10 teams. The fourth tier was named the Third Division. In 1998, the Premier Division (top flight) clubs broke away to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL).
