David Daniell (musician)
David Daniell is an American guitarist and composer active in experimental music, improvisation and electroacoustic composition. He has been active with the trio San Agustin since 1996. He has also collaborated with Loren Connors, Rhys Chatham, Tony Buck, Oren Ambarchi, Christian Fennesz, Tim Barnes, Ateleia, Jeph Jerman, Thurston Moore, Sean Meehan, Tomas Korber, Greg Davis and Jonathan Kane, and currently works in an ongoing duo with Douglas McCombs. He founded the record label Antiopic in New York City in 2002 with James Elliott. Daniell relocated to Chicago, Illinois in 2006, and to Western North Carolina in 2011. David Daniell (cyclist)
David Daniell (born 23 December 1989 in Middlesbrough) is an English competitive cyclist, specialising in track sprinting. A member of the British Cycling Olympic Academy, he is a Junior World Team Sprint Champion for the second year running. Daniell began cycling after being spotted at his school in British Cycling's Go-Ride scheme. He was nominated for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year in 2006 and was awarded Junior Sport's Personality of the Year at the 11th annual '' Evening Gazette'' Sports Awards 2007. His first victory in a World Cup event was in October 2008, when he beat Yevhen Bolibrukh of Ukraine. He took the victory in the kilo event with a time of 1:01.996, a clear margin of over a second over the rest of the field. After winning a silver medal in the Keirin at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Daniell underwent knee surgery that kept him out of training for 15 weeks. David Daniell (author)
David John Daniell (17 February 1929 – 1 June 2016) was an English literary scholar who became Professor of English at University College London. He was founder of the Tyndale Society, a specialist in William Tyndale and his translations of the Bible, and author of a number of studies of the plays of Shakespeare. Life Daniell was the son of Rev Eric H Daniell (later minister at Grange Road Baptist Church, Darlington, 1941–1946) and his wife Betty, and was nephew to the mathematician Percy John Daniell. He was educated at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Darlington followed by St Catherine's College, Oxford, where he read English. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1952 (Master of Arts in 1954). Also in 1954 he was awarded a BA degree in Theology. David Scott Daniell
David Scott Daniell (1 July 1906 – 29 August 1965), was an English writer, historian and journalist. He wrote fiction for adults and children, regimental histories and scripts for radio, television and film. His books for children were illustrated by some of the best artists of his day including William Stobbs, Colin Spencer and George Adamson. Over his career, Scott Daniell published 98 works that are now held in 1955 libraries around the world. Early life Albert Scott Daniell was born on 1 July 1906 and educated at Bedford Modern School. His first novel, ''Young English'', was a recollection of his time at the school. He was later known by his pseudonym David Scott Daniell. Career Scott Daniell wrote as David Scott Daniell, Albert Scott Daniell, Richard Bowood and John Lewesdon.
