David Cook (racing Driver)
David Cook (born 3 April 1975) is a British former racing driver, most notable for winning the British Formula Renault Championship in 1996, and for entering the International Formula 3000 series briefly in 1997 and 1998, driving for the family-run DC Cook Motorsports team. Racing career Born in Rotherham, Cook made his auto racing debut in 1994 in the Formula Vauxhall Junior series. For 1995, he stepped up into the Formula Renault UK series, finishing seventh overall, whilst also entering two rounds of the Championnat de France Formule Renault for Lewis Motorsport. He remained in the British series for 1996, taking the title with three wins. He also entered two rounds of the British Formula Two Championship, driving for Super Nova, and also entered the Formula Renault Eurocup, finishing sixth overall, with one win. Rotherham
Rotherham () is a large minster and market town in South Yorkshire, England. The town takes its name from the River Rother which then merges with the River Don. The River Don then flows through the town centre. It is the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. Marc Hynes (born 26 February 1978 in Guildford) is a British racing driver, who competed for Quantel Bifold Racing. with Triple Eight Race Engineering in the British Touring Car Championship. He won the 1995 British Formula Vauxhall Junior title and the 1997 British Formula Renault title. He then stepped up to Formula 3 and won the 1999 British Formula 3 Championship for Manor Motorsport beating Luciano Burti and Jenson Button into second and third places respectively. He competed in three rounds of the 2000 International Formula 3000 season for the WRT team. He has also tested for the Formula One team British American Racing. Guy Smith (born 12 September 1974) is a semi-retired British professional racing driver who has competed in various levels of motorsport, most notably the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which he won in 2003, and the American Le Mans Series, which he won in 2011. Redman Bright
Redman Bright Engineering was a British auto racing team founded in 1997 by racing driver turned engineer John Bright in partnership with former Formula One and sportscar driver Brian Redman. The team was initially set up to participate in two tiers of open wheel racing with Formula 3000 and Formula Renault efforts, including the International Formula 3000 series, before the team moved to sports car racing in association with Pilbeam Racing Designs, winning the 2000 Sports Racing World Cup for drivers and teams in their category. A supernova is a powerful and luminous explosion of a star. It has the plural form supernovae or supernovas, and is abbreviated SN or SNe. This transient astronomical event occurs during the last evolutionary stages of a massive star or when a white dwarf is triggered into runaway nuclear fusion. The original object, called the ''progenitor'', either collapses to a neutron star or black hole, or is completely destroyed. The peak optical luminosity of a supernova can be comparable to that of an entire galaxy before fading over several weeks or months. Supernovae are more energetic than novae. In Latin, ''nova'' means "new", referring astronomically to what appears to be a temporary new bright star. British Formula Renault Championship referred to one of two Formula Renault championships that were held in the United Kingdom.
