David Caldwell (American Football Executive)
David Caldwell (born c. 1974) is an American football executive who is a personnel executive for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the general manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2013 to 2020. Prior to that, he worked for the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, and Atlanta Falcons. Early life Caldwell was born in Buffalo, New York where he attended Saint Francis Highschool, where he was teammates with Brian Daboll, Tom Telesco and Brian Polian. He went on to attend John Carroll University where he played linebacker from 1992 to 1996. He was a teammate of Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman, Brian Polian., Josh McDaniels, London Fletcher, formerly a linebacker with the St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Redskins, as well as Tom Telesco. David Caldwell (athlete)
David Story Caldwell (April 27, 1891 – January 6, 1953) was an American runner. He competed in the 800 m at the 1912 Summer Olympics and finished in fourth place. In 1915 Caldwell won the AAU indoor 1,000 yard title; outdoors he was second over 880 yd in 1912 and third in 1915. After graduating from University of Massachusetts Caldwell became a farmer in northeastern Massachusetts. David Caldwell (footballer, Born 1960)
David Wilson Caldwell (born 31 July 1960) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Caldwell began his career with Highland Football League club Inverness Caledonian FC. His goalscoring form in the Highland League led to a Β£25,000 move to Mansfield Town in June 1979. He made his debut on 29 September 1979 in a 1–0 defeat against Reading at Elm Park, coming on as substitute after 76 minutes. Another substitute and one full appearance followed later that season. The following year saw Caldwell establish himself in the Mansfield side. In December 1984, Caldwell asked for a transfer from Mansfield. Even though he was a regular in the side, he was sent on loan to Carlisle United within the same month. On returning to Field Mill 2 months later, he was immediately loaned to Swindon Town, but after a further month away he returned to Mansfield and sporadic appearances in the Mansfield side. David Caldwell (North Carolina Minister)
David Stewart Caldwell (17251824) was a Presbyterian minister, educator, physician, statesman, and early settler in Guilford County, North Carolina in the mid 1700s. Early life David Caldwell was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Colony on March 25, 1725. He was the oldest of four sons of Andrew and Martha Caldwell. His father was a farmer. Caldwell served as a carpenter until age twenty five when he entered the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University) and was graduated in 1761. After graduation, he studied theology and was licensed as a clergyman in 1763 by the Presbytery of New Brunswick. Caldwell was ordained in 1765 and took an assignment as a missionary in the North Carolina back country. He became pastor of the Buffalo and Alamance Presbyterian churches, established by the Nottingham Colony, in Rowan County, North Carolina (the section that became Guilford County in 1771). David Caldwell (born June 13, 1974) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Career Caldwell was a three time All-American while at the University of North Carolina. He and Paul Goldstein were doubles gold medalists at the 1995 Summer Universiade, held in Fukuoka. He lost to Petr Korda in the opening round of the 1996 US Open and also exited in the first round of men's doubles, partnering Cecil Mamiit. His next Grand Slam appearance was in the 1997 Australian Open, where he again failed to make the second round, losing to Arnaud Boetsch.
