David Brodie (born June 10, 1974) is a Canadian political strategist, and communications consultant with Citizen Relations, a global public relations firm. He heads up the firm's office in Vancouver, British Columbia as senior vice president and general manager. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. David served in the Office of the Rt. Hon. Paul Martin, Prime Minister of Canada as the Senior Special Assistant for Northern and Western Canada. He was responsible for policy and issues management and the operational aspects of leading prime ministerial tours and events throughout the region. Prior to this, David held the position of National Director of Operations on the Paul Martin Federal Liberal leadership campaign in 2002, and served from 1998 to 2002 as a senior political advisor in the Office of the Minister of Finance. David Alexander Brodie (born 15 May 1943) is a British auto racing driver. He is best known for his time competing in the British Touring Car Championship. His best season in the BTCC was in 1985, finishing fourth overall on points.http://www.btcc.net/html/history_standings.php?season_id=28 Official 1985 BTCC standings Career Brodie started motor racing in 1968 winning his first race at Silverstone in an Austin A35. Since then, he has completed in over 700 races and driven saloons, sports cars, and Formula Three single seaters. David Brodie (1709?–1787), was a captain in the Royal Navy. He commanded and , and fought at the Battle of Porto Bello (1739), Battle of Santiago de Cuba (1748), and the Battle of Havana (1748). Early career Brodie was one of a collateral branch of the Brodies of Brodie, after serving for many years, both in the navy and mercantile marine, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant on 5 October 1736. In 1739 he served under Vernon at Porto Bello, and in 1741 at Cartagena.
