David Hoover Barr, Jr. (born May 9, 1972) is a former American football quarterback who played for two seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and World League of American Football (WLAF). He played for the St. Louis Rams in 1995 and for the Scottish Claymores in 1997. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 1995 NFL Draft, but did not make the team. David Allen Barr (born March 1, 1952) is a Canadian professional golfer who has played on the Canadian Tour, PGA Tour and Champions Tour. Barr was born in Kelowna, British Columbia. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was a member of the golf team. He finished as runner-up in the 1972 Canadian Amateur Championship. Barr turned professional in 1974. From 1974 to 1978, he played on the Canadian Professional Golf Tour, where he earned 12 victories. He played on the PGA Tour from 1978 to 2002. He continued to support the Canadian circuit by playing several events per year, even after he joined the PGA Tour, although the Canadian events had much lower prize money. Dave Barr (born April 12, 1952 in Los Angeles, California) is an American veteran of the Vietnam War and a motorcyclist best known for being the first double amputee to circumnavigate the globe. He lives in Bodfish, California where he runs a motorcycle tour company. He is also the author of several books and was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2000.
