David Rambo Becker, or simply David (May 16, 1995, Itapiranga, Santa Catarina, Brazil), is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Inter de Lages. Career Criciúma and U23 Brazilian team Born in Itapiranga, the westernmost municipality in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, David was spotted by a talent hunter, who then introduced him to Criciúma. David was 15 years-old at that time. He debuted in the professional side of Criciúma's in 2015. While in Criciúma, David was capped for the U23 national Brazilian team, which was getting prepared for the Rio Olympic Games. Besides some titles with Criciúma's U20 teams, David was runners-up in the U20 Copa do Brasil in 2013. Experience in Mexico In 2016, David was announced as the new goalkeeper of the Mexican club Reynosa. The announcement occurred in August. Itapiranga, Santa Catarina
Itapiranga is the westernmost municipality in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. Minority language Itapiranga was initially settled around 1920 by German speakers from what was known in German as the ''Altkolonie'', or the eastern region of Rio Grande do Sul where immigrants from the Hunsrück and other regions of Germany had started to establish themselves starting in 1824. Therefore, the primary language in this area was Riograndenser Hunsrückisch for many years; however, since the 1960s the Portuguese language, Brazil's national language, has gained preference amongst most inhabitants. The Brazilian football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for football clubs in Brazil. It consists of several independent pyramids, which are the national pyramid and the states pyramids. As these pyramids are independent, clubs usually compete in a state pyramid and a national pyramid. Both the national pyramid and the states pyramids consist of several levels. The best placed teams in the states championships as well as the best clubs ranked in by the CBF compete in the Copa do Brasil. Structure There are two simultaneous and independent functioning pyramids in Brazil's football, the national pyramid and the states pyramids.
