Dave Phillips (ice Hockey)
David Phillips (born 14 August 1987 in Kingston upon Hull, England) is a British professional ice hockey Defenceman (ice hockey), defenceman, currently playing for Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) side Belfast Giants. Phillips was previously with Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák in the Erste Liga (ice hockey), Erste Liga. Playing career Phillips began his career within the Kingston upon Hull club in England, playing for Kingston Crunch under-16, Kingston Predators under-19 and then Kingston Jets of the English National League in November 2003. He then moved up to the Hull Stingrays in the British National League (1996–2005), British National League, a team which joined the Elite League in 2006. Phillips established himself as one of Britain's top defencemen and served as assistant captain of the Stingrays in the 2007–08 season. David Robert Phillips (born October 8, 1943) is a retired Umpire (baseball), umpire, first with the American League from 1971 to 1999, then with both leagues from 2001 to 2002. Phillips wore uniform number 7 when the American League adopted uniform numbers for its umpires in 1980, and retained the number when the staffs merged in 2000. Dave Benson Phillips (born 3 February 1965) is a British entertainer, comic, children's television presenter and wrestler, best known for his work presenting ''Playhouse Disney'' (1998–2006) and '' The Fun Song Factory'' (1994–1999). He also presented the popular CBBC game show ''Get Your Own Back'', which he now tours with around the UK. Career Benson Phillips became interested in showbusiness while working as an usher at the Polka Children's Theatre in Wimbledon, London, and began his career as an entertainer by busking and performing at children's parties. He subsequently went on to work for Pontins as a Bluecoat, and a Children's Uncle for Haven Holidays. Dave Phillips (born May 7, 1951) is a maze and puzzle designer, and writer of ''The Zen Of The Labyrinth—Mazes For The Connoisseur''. Phillips has provided puzzles for ''Reader's Digest'', '' Highlights'', ''National Geographic World'', ''Die Zeit'', ''Ranger Rick'', '' Omni'', ''Games'', ''Scientific American'', and United Features Syndicate. He has also created jigsaw puzzle mazes for Hallmark and die cut puzzle mazes for DaMert. Phillips has designed and produced electronic puzzles and logic titles for CD-i, Smart Games, and eGames. He and partner Rob Hafey own eBrainyGames, an electronic game development company. Dave Phillips (soccer)
Dave Phillips (born April 2, 1961 Kansas City, Mo) was the general manager of the Wichita Wings indoor soccer team from 1996 to 1998. Phillips started his career in broadcasting as an overnight radio host on WREN in Topeka, KS, in 1981. He then moved to host the morning radio show with Jess Huxman in 1982. In 1985, Phillips moved to Wichita, KS to host the morning show on KNSS radio. The team's 4-5 record in the post season makes Phillips the GM with the highest playoff winning percentage in the teams 22-year history. Phillips and coach Kim Roentved were fired following the 1998 season, which saw the team advance to the conference finals for the first time in 18 years. The team would not win another playoff series and folded three years later. Phillips returned to his public relations and advertising roots in working at Sasnak Management in 2002.
