Davíð Tómas Tómasson
Davíð Tómas Tómasson (born 21 October 1988) is an Icelandic FIBA referee and a musician. Refereeing In 2017, Davíð was named an official FIBA referee. In 2019, Davíð was barred from refereeing ÍR's games during the Úrvalsdeild karla playoffs after he posted an Instagram picture of himself and ÍR player Matthías Orri Sigurðarson, alluding to their connection to the Vesturbær district in Reykjavík. In 2023, he was named the Icelandic Basketball Referee of the Year. ''The Reykjavík Grapevine'' is an English language, English-language Icelandic magazine and online newspaper based in the Icelandic capital city, capital of Reykjavík. Georgía Olga Kristiansen (born 3 January 1979) is an Icelandic basketball referee and a former player. Gauti Þeyr Másson, better known as Emmsjé Gauti (meaning " MC Gauti"; born 17 November 1989 in Akureyri), is an Icelandic rapper and hip hop artist with R&B and pop influences. He started his rapping career in 2002 and was member of Icelandic rap groups 32c and Skábræður before going solo starting 2010 and releasing two albums ''Bara ég'' in 2011 and ''Þeyr'' in 2013 with "Kinky" as the first single from ''Þeyr''. ''DV'' (''Dagblaðið Vísir'') is an online newspaper in Iceland published by Torg ehf. It came into existence as a daily newspaper in 1981 when two formerly independent newspapers, Vísir and Dagblaðið, merged. Early on it was one of the largest newspapers in Iceland and at one point had a 64% readership in Iceland. In the 1990s its readership started to dwindle and in 2003 its publisher was declared bankrupt. It was resurrected a week later by the publisher of Fréttablaðið.
