Daulat Bikram Bista
Daulat Bikram Bista (Nepali:दौलत विक्रम विष्ठ) was a writer and poet of Nepali literature. He was born on 9 October 1925 (6 Ashoj 1983 B.S.) in Bhojpur and died on 1 January 2002. His writing dealt with social issues, mainly the exploitation and discrimination of the poor and downtrodden. Early life and education Bista was born as the first son to father Somraj Bista and mother Man Kumari Bista. His ancestral house was in Lamjung but his father had migrated to Kathmandu before he was born to get a government job. Bista was born in Bhojpur district due to his father's transfer there. His family lived in various cities during his upbringing as his father travelled often for work. Bista's mother died in 1996, after which his father remarried. Bhojpur, Nepal
Bhojpur is a neighborhood in Bhojpur Municipality which is located in Bhojpur District in Province No. 1 of Nepal. The Bhojpur Village Panchayat was established in 1962 and was renamed as Bhojpur Village development committee in 1990. On 18 May 2014 the Government of Nepal declared 72 new municipalities within the country. Tribhuvan University (TU; ne, त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय) is a public university located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Established in 1959, TU is the oldest university in Nepal. In terms of enrollment, it is the 12th largest university in the world. The college offers 1000 undergraduate and 500 postgraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. Durbar High School
Durbar High School () or Bhanu Higher Secondary School, opened in 1854 is the oldest modern school in Nepal located near Rani Pokhari, Kathmandu. The school was originally built to teach sons of Ranas exclusively but was opened to public citizens in 1901 by Dev Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana. At first, Rana children were given education at Thapathali Durbar but later Jung Bahadur Rana moved it into its own building at Ranipokhari, Kathmandu. Some parts of the school were destroyed in the April 2015 Nepal earthquake. The school was rebuilt under the Chinese Aid.
